An ideal miniature synthesizer for generating basslines, the Volca Bass has a sound that far outmatches its stature. Three oscillators generate a variety of bass sounds. It has a simple structure and front panel with single VCF, VCA, LFO, and EG that make it a great instrument for understanding the basics of synthesis. It also has a step sequencer, a slide function to add life to your lines and an active step function that removes or adds steps. You can SYNC jack and use MIDI IN to synchronize with other instruments or a DAW. Even has a built in speaker!
